Job description

This role will involve managing guest check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries, and providing tailored services to meet their individual needs. You will help create a memorable guest experience in a luxurious and tranquil environment, contributing to the overall success of the beach club by maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate room assignments and a seamless experience for guests upon arrival and departure.
Reservations: Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the Property Management System (PMS). Ensure that guest preferences and special requests are noted and communicated to relevant departments.
Guest Interaction: Provide personalized service to guests, anticipating their needs and offering solutions for any concerns or requests. Ensure that all guest inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Billing and Payments: Process payments for guests, manage guest accounts, and handle billing inquiries. Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and any discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
Communication: Communicate guest preferences and special requests to other departments, including housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Concierge Support: Assist guests with local recommendations, bookings for activities, dining, transportation, and special arrangements to enhance their overall experience.
Administrative Tasks: Perform general front desk duties such as answering phones, managing emails, filing, and maintaining accurate guest records. Ensure all relevant information is captured in the PMS system.
Maintain Knowledge of Property: Stay informed about all services, amenities, and events available to provide guests with up-to-date information and recommendations.
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Assist in Operations: Collaborate with the front office team to ensure smooth daily operations, handle guest complaints effectively, and provide general support as needed.
Phone/Email Management: Answer phone calls, emails, and direct inquiries as necessary in a timely manner.
Front Desk Maintenance: Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties like filing and updating records.
Reservation Management: Handle reservations and room assignments efficiently.
Special Requests: Process special requests such as early check-ins, late check-outs, and room preferences.
Concierge Services: Assist guests with local recommendations and special services (e.g., transportation, dining reservations).
Brand standards compliance: Ensure compliance with brand protocols and maintain a secure environment.

Education & Training 

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Training: On-the-job training will be provided, with a focus on guest service excellence, front office operations, and specific systems and procedures.
Certifications: Any relevant certifications in hospitality or customer service (e.g., hospitality management courses) are a plus but not required.

9 hours ( +/- 90 minutes)

    This assessment evaluates key qualities essential for hospitality roles, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Candidates must score 80% or higher to qualify for an interview at the Job Fair.

     

  2. Register for the Job Fair 
    The registration link will be available after you pass the test.
